Built on a foundation of trust and collaboration, our work together will empower you to recognize and develop your own insight, enhancing your sense of well-being. Our session will focus on identifying your goals, and I will work alongside you as you navigate your way forward.
For 13 years, I swam competitively culminating in a career highlight as a member of the 1991 NAIA Championship Women's Swimming and Diving Team at SFU. From my lifelong devotion to sport, both as a high performance athlete, coupled with over 30 years as a nationally certified coach, I have developed a deep respect for the power and potential in each individual.
My father, a career Firefighter, a Battalion Chief with the Vancouver Fire Rescue Services, instilled in me a deep respect for the mental toll first responder jobs can take. I look forward to supporting the work of the members of this integral part of our community.
Working with neurodiverse students from grades K-12 in both Coquitlam and Chilliwack school districts, I am relationship based in my approach to counselling, coaching, and interpersonal dynamics.
Finally, I am most proud of my role as Mom to my two adult daughters. As a family, we have deep roots in the local Tri-Cities community, for which I am grateful.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #23235), certified by the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors.
